Wigmore Cycling Club

Club Runs

Every Sunday we organise a social ride out starting from the A2 in Rainham (Meeting by the bus stop on London Road before the junction with Maidstone road at 9 am see map)

It's a great way to get in some miles, taking in some of the best roads Kent has to offer. It's also another chance to catch up with members, not to mention the opportunity to replace those spent calories with a slice of cake...

Routes are varied and tend to be of 50 - 60 miles at a pace to suite the slowest rider. Where possible a tea / food stop is incorporated at a suitable point. It is possible to come along for part of the ride and make your own way back should you need to get back earlier.

If you have never been on a club run then come along and give it a try, what have you got to lose? If you feel unsure about any aspect, contact Steve the club rides secretary or one of the committee, alternatively come along to a club night and I am sure we can sort any queries you may have.
